Australian Project Management

Professsional Certification

The Australian Institute of Project Management has a certification system based upon the Australian National Competency Standards for Project Management. This certification system is available in Australia currently, and will shortly be available everywhere else.

The AIPM certification is available at three levels - project team member, project manager and program manager, and requires individuals to prepare portfolios of evidence showing performance (i.e. output competence). further information is available through the AIPM at email aipm@ozemail.com.au . and the AIPM Web at http://www.dab.uts.edu.au/aipm/

A booklet has been prepared by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) as a guide to its certification program, the Registered Project Manager Award Program (RegPM). The AIPM RegPM award is based on the Australian Recognition Framework. The booklet provides sufficient information about the program to enable an individual or organization to decide whether to seek these awards. [Page Index]
